How can I keep my bananas from ripening too quickly. They seem to "brown" too fast. Any ideas?

Put them in the refrigerator where they will not continue to ripen - however, keep in mind the skin may turn brown.

It's because of the Ethylene... That's a hormone that helps the banana ripen and become healthy. The only problem is when enough is enough... You can use the Debbie Meyer Green Bags, they help because they have Zeolite, which is a chemical that slows the process down so it will last longer... Your Welcome................. |
